She felt a shiver run down her spine as she opened her ice blue eyes. She let them wander on the girl sleeping next to her. The long red hair that curled down her back and the freckles that spotted her skin. She was utterly beautiful. Shaan smiled as she curled closer to her, she drifted off into a sleep, it was only the two of them, and it was perfect, just like she had always wanted. She jumped at the sound of a girl screaming. She turned to hug Megan close, a shudder ran down her spine. She was gone. She stood, brandishing her crossbow, she charged to the back, her stomach twisting into knots as she kicked the storage room door open. There on her side was Megan, grasping her throat as a zombie tried to pull her close again. Shaan let the arrow fly as she looked her best friend in the eye. ”…No, no NO! Not you, hell not you Megan!” She screamed as her friend put her bloody palm to Shaan’s cheek. She smiled, the light in her grey eyes fading. ”…Kill Me Corrie…I love you... I can’t be like them…” she spoke softly, the words gurgled in her throat. ___________ She stumbled out onto the street, her face streaked with blood, eyes far away and her hands shaking. The bow mounted on her back. The black shirt tight to her body, her jeans spattered in dried blood as she walked down the street, the bag slung over her shoulder about to slip and fall. She seemed almost numb to the world and the ways. She moved with no sense of purpose or care. The empty cans on the street she let her feet hit with no regard. She fell to her knees, she looked at her palms and felt the salty tears burn down her cheeks. She was alone and she knew it. How would she survive like this, So alone and forgotten? She sighed and waited. Someone would come along, zombie or human, whichever it be. She only prayed she would die quickly.

Eden had been fighting the zombies since she first bumped into one, it was before the out break went public. She had been bitten twice but nothing happened to her, it was when a doctor told her she was the first immune person he had seen. Which meant she was highly immune, perhaps even the strongest. She gave about ten pints of blood to help, not all at once of course but all in all it helped people. She had a small group of people who she was willing to help, everyone knew her. Fairbanks wasn't that big.
But all in all she used her wealth to do what she could to help, she was looking for some food she had a shot gun on her back. But then heard crying and she took off rather fast, but she was to late she saw a girl and she was out of rang. Running quickly she saw the other girl collapsing, but could hear the groaning and soon about five zombies were coming right for her. Narrowing her eyes she quickly looked around her, to see what she could use against them since she could fight in other ways then guns.
She actually had a sword resting on her hip to, and knew she had to act. Taking her shot gun she blew the head off one that was ready to bite the girl, and then taking her sword she began to fight them back. Panting some as she took care of the four that were remaining. Looking back down at the girl taking some cloth from her pocket she wiped off the blood from her sword and looked around not seeing anything else which was good. It was nice to hear silence for once but knew she had to help her.
Kneeling down in front of her and placed her hand on her shoulder. "Are you alright?" She said, sure it was rather stupid to ask but the conversation had to start some place. Everything around her had been rather dark but she was happy to have found a survivor.

Shaan had heard the sounds of battle, heard how everything went. She saw the woman, heard her talking, felt the pressure on her shoulder even. Nothing seemed to snap her out of it. She felt her body shake as she began to actually laugh. It was a small light laugh, a pathetic sound even, but she couldnt help it, she felt like she should be dead too after how she abandoned Megan like that, after she promised her she would be safe, she fell asleep. All of this was her fault. She looked up at the woman with her crystal blue eyes as she stood, her body trembling as she did. Her gaze finally snapped back to the world as she felt a surge of misery and joy go through her. "..Im perfectly Fine.. Just Perfect." She said in a voice that seemed to be almost a purr. She sighed as she looked the woman up and down before closing her eyes for a moment. She felt the pain welling up inside her and didnt know exactly how she was going to deal with this later. Her old escape was far too risky. She focused back on the woman as she smiled, her best defense. "..Thank you for That." She said as she wiped her hand across her jeans, she felt almost awkward, she had weapons on her, she was a fighter, yet she did nothing.
