Eden felt rather alone lately like she was missing something in her life, Eden had never had a boyfriend she had a hard time trusting people. Well as of lately any way, being told that the world was ending. That everything around her was going to shit, she did not live here all her life. She was from New York originally then her father came up here because of military crap. And she sighed a little bit, and decided to go for a walk, since she knew how to fight and was immune she did not worry as much as the others.
Taking out her shot gun and making sure she was warm enough, she walked out into the snow. Thankfully everything seemed quite and the wind was not blowing, it was the hard wind that was the major problem, here she thought the zombies would die off but they are still all over the place. And really everything was just so still. And then she heard it a small little bell and she took off for it and found herself at the docks, her eyes scanned seeing a ship. Her heart was pounding and knew this ship could get people out.
But not seeing the captain of it, she put her hand on the bell to get it to stop making the sound and looked around. Swallowing very hard her heart was beating so fast, she bit her lip and her gun up not seeing anyone but she closed her eyes to listen to everything around her. Something her father taught her, but then she heard the groans of "Them" and she opened up her eyes, taking her sword from her hip and took out a couple before more could happen, she sighed a bit needing to find who owned this ship.

He heard sounds outside. Sounds he didn't like hearing but knew what to do. Why the bell was ringing he wasn't sure but, when it stopped, he was even more concerned. Looking out of the wheelhouse of the Northwestern he saw a young woman on the dock fighting for her very life. Picking up his Luger pistol he opened the door and began firing at some of the undead that were trying to reach the woman. How did they not die in this freezing weather was anyone's guess.
Running down the steps he unhooked the ropes that had the boat moored to the deck. "Get in!" he called to her as he brought down three more. "Edgar!! Get us out of here!" he called back.
Just as he undid the last rope the fishing vessel moved away from the dock. Some of the walkers fell into the freezing water where he knew they would freeze from the cold and, pulling the girl into the warm wheelhouse where his brother, Edgar Johansen, was behind the wheel taking them out towards the Bering Sea the threat was over.
"You alright, girl?" he asked her as he sat her down on a small couch. The Northwestern was a fishing vessel but was also used at one time to take people out for sightseeing. Now the only sightseeing they did was leaving walkers on a deck by themselves.

Eden was taken back there were two many but then she heard a voice ripped out of the silence in her head and turned seeing two men. Looking back she heard him yelling to his brother and she watched as the ship pulled away from the dock. So she took off running rather fast and made the leap from the dock onto the ship and crashed into the wall. She grunted in pain as she growled a little bit and sighed softly. Looking up she panted a bit as the walkers seemed to stop, panting a bit she felt her heart.
She gasped when she was pulled in and felt the warmth hit her so fast, she panted a bit hearing his question she just nodded to him. But then she heard an alarm from her walki talkie and held it up to her ear hearing beeping which was a signal from her second in command. And slowly stood up brushing her hand against her cheek and looked at the two gentlemen and smiled a little bit at them. And then knew she had to make an announcement to her people so taking a deep breath she cleared her throat and spoke.
"Alright gang listen up we are under a level five warning I repeat level five warning. Everyone is to report back to head quarters. I found two survives and I am safe with them, everyone is to return and do not move until I get back there. Anyone not there when I get back there will be trouble. Walkers are all over the place, keep the place safe but stay inside. Do what we normally do when we are level five. I will see you guys should not be very long of a wait. Eden over and out"
Cracking her neck she put her gun against her shoulder, and looked at her saviors and smiled a little bit. "So who are my saviors then? I am Eden Wolf leader of a small group of survivors" She extended her hand out to Sig and smiled happily at him honestly happy he saved her ass.

"Nice to met you, Eden Wolf," he shook her hand. "I'm Sig Johansen and this is my brother, Edgar Johansen," he introduced them both.
"Hello," Edgar nodded her way and continued heading out to sea.
"That was a pretty close call. You almost got caught. Here, this should help to warm you up," he handed her a mug of hot coffee. "So --- survivors, huh? Where are these survivors hidden away? The reason I'm asking is we know of a small island where there are no people, only penguins. We were thinking of maybe starting a small community there and waiting until this --- whatever it is, is over and we can come back home and start over again. Your group might be just right to help us. I've got a map, if you want to see it. What'd ya think?"
((ooc: Edgar is an NPC right now. You are welcome to use him in your replies if you want to.))

Eden smiled at the gentlemen and took the cup of coffee and sipped it silently enjoying the warmth on her throat. She moaned a little bit "Man I haven't had coffee since this shit happened. But it's nice to meet you two I felt you two were brothers" She sighed silently she leaned against the wall and looked at Sig he was sweet and something in his eyes made her sad but said nothing about it. Hearing his idea she smiled a bit it actually sounded pretty good, but sighed a little bit thinking. Looking around she looked outside the window.
"Well it would take a hell of a lot of work, since we would have to build quickly on the island. To easy to freeze to death unless this Island you are talking about is on the part of Alaska that does not snow? I know Fairbanks like the back of my hand but I am not originally from here I am a city girl. Came up here with my parents, I am really the only one in my group that does certain things, since I was the first person immune to what ever is going on.
But even I know we will eventually die if we do not do something, so we can make plans. Anything is better then what we have been doing I know that." She thought for a moment and smiled a little bit and was handed the map by his brother. And saw the island circled in a red circle. Putting it down on the table she began to write some things down. She was good at this kind of thing, again something her father taught her, how to plot a course. And realized it would take six hours to get there.
"Hmmm.."

"Yes, we discovered it this last summer. I call it Eagle Island and it's big enough for a large group of people to live comfortably. Look at it closer. There's fresh water lagoons, mountains and beaches. It could be heaven on earth."Click Here-->Eagle Island

She looked at it closer and began to calculate how many this island could hold, she was counting on her fingers for something and then sighed a little bit. Looking down she closed her eyes and stood back up stretching and looked back at Sig and nodded a bit. Picking up her coffee she began to drink it silently, looking outside the window she smiled a little bit. It would be nice to get away, though she doubted that what ever was going on would ever clear up. It went on far to long for it to correct itself that was sure.
"Unfortunately I do not think this situation will fix itself. I mean its always good to hope you know, but this epidemic has lasted far to long. I have come across people who were immune, even cured since there is a cure. Those who are immune its made from there blood, I was the first taste case. They found out I was immune in a not so nice way" She would tell him how if he wanted to know, no matter how painful it was she could give people a slim bit of hope, at least that was what she wanted.

"I haven't gotten it and neither has my brother here," he motioned to Edgar. "I don't know anything about any tests but we just figured we'd go somewhere and start over. So," he sipped his coffee and looked at her, "Where are these survivors you know? We might be able to save them and get them the hell out of Fairbanks. Better than where they are right now. We've got weapons and food. What we don't have we can scavenge for at another port, if we need to."

She thought for a second and nodded "Well I am sure you two are immune because it spreads quickly. But there are two many people to just put them on the ship. And some are actually ill right now, we can't just do all this without planning it. I have fifty survivors right now and there maybe more, so this has to be planned. As much as I wish to hell we could just pack up and leave now. We can't, and before they will go with you. You will have to pretty much prove yourself to them, just get to know them.
It took them a good two months for most to trust me, and because I have the facility and the money I am the leader because I can get what is needed, besides a cure for this nightmare. So I will show you the closest dock to my place, It is safe there just never safe outside." Smiling a bit hoping he would agree since she hated to have to plan everything. But there were some people rather ill that would have to be taken care of, and trust was hard to come by now a days.

"Well, when we get there I think you'll see how much room we actually have. I doubt it will be a permanent solution but we might be able to stay there relatively trouble free at least until the rest of the world is cleansed and the virus finally runs itself out," he told her trying to sound encouraging.
"You hungry? We've got food. How would you like a hamburger?"

Eden looked at him and thought about it "Id love one, man I haven't had one in months. How in the world did you get that? huh guess you are a rather mysterious man" She chuckled a bit but enjoyed it. Finishing up her coffee she looked back down at the map. "Soon we will be able to hopefully be without zombies, though we would have to come back for supplies. I just worry what happens once we run out of medicane and food, since I am sure it will be gone soon"

"Why would you gone gone, soon?" he asked her with a frown as he sipped his coffee. It felt good to wrap his hands around the warm mug.

She silently sighed and looked at him "Life is easy for no one but even more so with some of the kids who saw there parents being eaten in front of there faces. But I also know its not just the bites that turn people. Unless you get shot in the head no matter how you die you come back. Everything will eventually be used up, the food I am not to worried about. Its meds I am worried about"

Sig pondered her reply for several minutes as he cooked a meal. He fried several hamburger patties and toasted the buns. He loved tomato slices with his burgers but fresh fruit was a rare commodity these days, and not because it was winter. Ever since the virus outbreak any kind of food production came to a sudden stop. The survivors made due with what they had. But, he still had jarred pickles, ketchup and mustard and several cans of vegetables. He settled for a bag of potato chips to serve with the burgers.
Calling his brother to come eat the boat's motor stopped and they floated in the open waters. At the booth set up in the eating area Sig set out a plate of burgers on a bun, the bag of chips and a can of soda for each of them.
"Dear Lord," Sig began to pray. "Thank for the food you've set before us and thank you for our new friend, Eden. Protect us and keep us all safe and allow our hands to do Your will. In Jesus' Name we pray. Amen."
"Help yourself, Eden. There's enough for everyone to have two burgers." He opened the bag of chips and let her help herself to some before he and Edgar got some for themselves.

Eden smiled at Sig and his brother both seemed to have been through much, it was easy to see in how they moved. How there voices were, but watching him make the food was rather fun. Smelling meat which was something she had missed and hoped she did not ask a lot. She was just so hungry for real food it was hard to think at times. But then she watched him pray at the table, something she never really did. But for him she prayed along side with him, respecting what he did at the dinner table which was nice.
Once grace was said she smiled at him and nodded taking a burger and eating it. She moaned at how good the burger was. She could not help but feel like a child here, like the child with no manners because she was so hungry. But she forced herself to calm down the eating, that nothing would be taken away from her. She grinned a little bit and looked at Sig making sure she had no food on her or in her mouth. Thinking about what to say to him. But silently sighed thinking how good it was to see someone else.
"Thank you for this Sig it's been well since the outbreak that I have been able to sink my teeth into meat, so this is very good of you to do this. Maybe someday I can return this favor. But seems good to see two more people who managed to survive this hell, my father use to say there was no hell that life was hell. Starting to think my old man was right on that one, but since I accept you two I am sure the others will as well. I was the one with the rich parents, now I am trying to pay them back you know"
